One of Budakeszi’s city gates has been renewed.

The market is perhaps the most important place in the everyday life of a town. It is a necessity, a meeting place, a compact institution that life would be almost unimaginable without. Market hall architecture has a long history in Hungary, but there are also a number of classic, open markets that have undergone significant renovation and reconstruction in recent years. This was the case in Budakeszi, where the market on Dózsa György Square, which serves as the southern gateway to the town, was completely rebuilt.
